A RARE, ANTIQUE, LATE EDWARDIAN, 1920's, ERA, GYM, SPORTS, THREE PIECE SUIT. A WHITE, COTTON, MIDDY BLOUSE, WITH A SAILOR STYLE COLLAR, BREAST POCKET, AND LONG SLEEVES, PLEATED ABOVE THE CUFFS, WITH A TWO BUTTON CLOSURE, ON THE CUFF. THE OWNERS NAME IS ON A SMALL TAG ON THE INSIDE, BACK, OF THE NECKLINE. MEASUREMENTS: LENGTH - 21 1/2", BUST - 38", SHOULDERS - 15", WAIST - 36", SLEEVES - 18 1/2". CONDITION: A 1/4" OPEN SEAM ON THE BACK OF THE COLLAR, A 1/4" HOLE ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE COLLAR, THAT ONLY GOES THROUGH ONE LAYER OF FABRIC, A TINY WEAR SPOT ON THE FRONT OF THE COLLAR, WEAR TO THE POCKET CORNERS, A TINY PIN HOLE ON THE SLEEVE, AND A HOLE ON THE FRONT OF THE BLOUSE APPROX. 1" IN SIZE, WITH ANOTHER SMALL TEAR ABOVE IT. NEXT IS A PAIR OF WHITE, COTTON, BLOOMERS, PLEATED IN THE FRONT, AND BACK, OF THE WAIST, FULL LEGS, WITH ELASTIC CUFFS, AND A SINGLE BUTTON CLOSURE ON THE SIDE OF THE WAISTBAND. MEASUREMENTS: LENGTH - 29 1/2", INSEAM - 13 1/2", WAIST - 28". CONDITION: THE ELASTIC HAS LOST IT'S ELASTICITY, SOME SMALL LIGHT GRAY SPOTS, SEVERAL TINY PALE BLUE SPOTS, AND THE WAIST WAS TAKEN IN APPROX. 1 1/4" ON THE FRONT OF THE WAISTBAND, AND 1" ON THE BACK OF THE WAISTBAND. ALSO INCLUDED IS A BLUE POLYESTER SCARF WITH WHITE DOTS. THE SCARF IS NOT ORIGINAL, AND A PAIR OF NAVY BLUE, SEAMED, STOCKINGS. THE STOCKINGS HAVE SOME SNAGS. I HAVE A YELLOW, COTTON MIDDY BLOUSE THAT WAS PURCHASED FROM THE SAME ESTATE LISTED SEPARATELY.
