    Description

    Here's a 1960's Gretsch restoration that I recently completed.
Drum sizes are: 20" bass, 13" tom, 16" Floor tom, 14" snare. (standard sizes).
    No stands included or cymbals.
All new hardware: Lugs, tension rods, mufflers, die cast rims, cymbal arm,Claws & "T"'s, diamond plates & legs, bass drum spurs, Micro sensitive throw off, and Gretsch insert w/key holder.
20" bass drum hoops are original (with sight bow in batter hoop where the pedal was), also rail consolette is not new,(I called Steve Maxwell and they have no current repro of the consolette available). The 14" snare:has a Ludwig butt plate, but am sure you can find a new Gretsch plate to match the hole dimensions. Also, installed a Gretsch Micro sensitive throw off as the old throw off's were garbage.
    Interiors color matched and repainted.
Color is Corvette Red. (This paint was a ,000.00 per gallon for my 71 Dodge Dart Swinger), and I had enough left over to do the shells. Multiple clear coats applied, and triple polished (see photo with tension rods to see depth of red color).
Bering edges untouched and in round, heads fit nice. ((yes they are painted to be sealed).
All new heads Remo coated Diplomats on toms, snare is Ambassador coated & clear snare Diplomat, bass drum is Ambassador front head (custom decal) & batter side is P3-FLT
Just a little over 60 hours spent on this kit and it sounds great!!!
